WoW: Mists of Pandaria - Scarlet Monastery & Scholomance Back as Heroics Preview 2012!

What's up guys and girl players of WoW. Tarou here bringing you a quick vid on some new Mists of Pandaria dungeons, Scarlet Monastery and Scholomance.

First we have Scarlet Monastery or SM as we called it back in the day. It's back and better than ever or should I say, as good as it's ever been because aside from being heroic, it doesn't look like it's changed much at all. This trailer could've just failed to show its epicness but more or less I think it's going to be the same as classic WoW.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. If you've only played Wrath or Cata it's unlikely you've even seen SM aside from the graveyard during Hallow's End and even then you've probably never had the chance to run it at its suggested levels.

SM of course has all your favorite past time villians who are sure to be rockin a lot more punch in heroic likely with a slew of new, cooler looking abilities. Data is still pretty vague on SM's upgrades and changes but hopefully they make some new art updates and boss abilities while still preserving that SM oldschool nostalgic feel.

Next, we have Scholomance or Scholo for the oldschoolers. They've done a lot more work on this dungeon although the overall feel is the same. It looks like they've included some new models for some of the mobs, new graphics and textures, new spell effects along with some other stuff.

Bosses have also gotten some upgrades that take advantage of all the new tools Blizzard has at their disposable for mob and boss encounter abilities.

If you're like most humans and fear change, don't worry. Your favorite boss Darkmaster Gandling will still be sending you to the rooms on the sides and locking you in until you fight your way out.

All in all these should be some pretty fun and nostalgic heroics to run but, I don't think these trailers or previews do any justice. When I run them in beta I'll see if I can do a bit better than the Blizzard.
