This Inscription 1-600 guide is as complete as I can make it but some players may have to purchase extra materials due to sometimes not getting a point from a yellowed item or milling not netting all the required materials. Some players may also find that making different items are more beneficial for resale. In total, expect to spend 8,000-10,000g leveling Inscription (Note: Most players should be able to recover around 8,500g to 14,000g or more depending on the server's economy by selling the crafted items on the Auction House). Note: You will find that you are able to sometimes make multiple different Glyphs or items with the same materials. Because of this, you may want to mix it up a little or see what will resell best on your server. This guide is based on what will resell the best on my server and your's may be different depending on its economy and stance towards PvE or PvP.

Start out by becoming an Apprentice Inscriber. You can learn Inscription in any of the three old Azeroth cities of your faction or Dalaran.

• Once you hit skill level 50, talk to the Inscription trainer and train Journeyman Inscription. This will allow you to skill up to level 150 and requires level 10.

• From here things honestly can get super sweet if you have amazing luck. Not only does any orange skill level Glyph give you 3 skill points, if you discover a Minor Glyph that is high level, you can make it all the way up to 35 where is yellows which is pretty awesome and doesn't make sense but who cares right. If you do discover a high level Minor Glyph you can either make it until it yellows then continue with this guide or if you don't want the overstock of one Glyph just make it until you can go to the next step after the one below.
• 80-101: Create 7 x [Glyph of ...] - whatever Glyph you discovered or trained that is orange. When no Glyphs are orange, see the trainer and continue.

• At this point you will want to see any trainer in a major city and learn how to be a Zen Master Inscription. This will allow you to reach max Inscription, skill level 600 and requires level 80.
• Mill about 14 stacks of [Green Tea Leaf], [Rain Poppy], [Silk Weed], or [Snow Lily] to get the materials for the below items. I suggest milling [Green Tea Leaf] since it will likely be the cheapest.
• Mix up the two items below in any way you like and have materials from milling. The amount listed is what you will need to hit 600.
• 500-545: Create 51 x [Ink of Dreams]
  Required Materials:
  102 x [Shadow Pigment]
• 500-545: Create 9 x or more [Starlight Ink]
  Required Materials:
