WoW: Patch 4.3 Stock Up & Dump List - Auction House Tips & Tricks!

Hey everyone. I just want to give all of you my stockup and dump list for Patch 4.3's release which should be as early as November 29th. Each server can be different so take this post and video as a general guide to what items you might want to have on hand or dump before Patch 4.3: Dragon Soul releases.

• First up we have Maelstrom Crystals. In Patch 4.3 you'll be able to shatter these into two Heavenly Shards. With Heavenly Shards typically twice the price of Maelstrom Crystals on most servers, most players should be able to stock up on these while they're cheap and watch the price rise after Patch 4.3 has been released for a few weeks and just before. This also means you may want to dump your Heavenly Shards now since they are going to decrease in price.
• Volatile Water is also good to stock up on if it's cheap on your server since it'll be used in some new recipes but the flip won't be insanely profitable so buy and sell with caution.
• Truegold is another of my picks since Alchemists will be able to transmute epic gems, it's unlikely they'll use their cooldown for Truegold anymore making supply dwindle while demand increases with new epic item recipes for weapons and armor. On top of that becoming a transmute spec'd Alchemist will now cost 4 Truegold according to the PTR.
• Another good pick is Volatile Fire that has been creamed from 30g down to 3-5g on most servers. Luckily it'll be used in a lot of new recipes among other things so expect its price to increase. I don't think we'll see 30g but 10-15g is very possible.
• Volatile Air has less attention and I'm neutral on it only buying when it's cheap.
• Volatile Earth should see some price movement but it's a very iffy one on whether it'll go down or up. I'd just stay away from it since if JC's hoarding Pyrite Ore give up on their stockpiling and decide to just prospect it will see the market flooded even more with Volatile Earth unless Blizzard adds some sort of exchange for it using it as currency. Who knows and that brings us to Pyrite Ore.
• Pyrite Ore is losing ground as its name holds true as fool's gold since epic gems won't be prospected from it according to current patch notes and blue posts. I still think it's a solid investment regardless but if you're worried and have a stockpile, dump it. I'm holding on to mine until the sink actually sinks which isn't likely since prospecting isn't the only good reason to be holding it.
• I take a lot of calculated risks but the thing is, I always have a backup. Let's take this Pyrite Ore for example. If it doesn't prospect into epic gems, it just means I use its backup money making source instead which is through Blacksmithing or even just as Pyrium Bars for transmuting or even straight prospecting itself.
• Btw, if you haven't yet Jewelcrafters, you need to be doing your daily everyday so you can get those new epic recipes. This'll also mean that Zephyrite, Jasper, and Nightstone should increase in price as more and more do the dailys.
• On top of that, Chimera's Eyes will increase in price since Jewelcrafter's won't be using their daily JC tokens to buy them anymore and instead use the tokens on epic gem recipes.
• Well, that's pretty much it for this Tarou's Patch 4.3 Stockup and Dump List and for the full list seperated by profession including tons more stockup items for each and every profession, check the list below:
• Hey everyone, (Small Update - We may see a large decline in Volatile Earth if nothing further is added ingame to offset its current crashing. Expect it to be even worse if Pyrite Ore gets prospected into Epic Gems. Remember right now everything says Pyrite Ore WILL NOT prospect into epic gems but that could change in the first update patch to 4.3)
• Patch 4.3 is on the PTR and does have a lot more testing until release but here is a preliminary list of items to stock up on for each profession holder & Auction House player.
• Farming/AH reselling:
  Volatiles Fire (especially at these rock bottom prices), Volatile Water
  Truegold (This should increase because most Alchs will use their CD on epic gems instead.)
  Epics (A lot of times people rush to get a certain iLvl which increases these items' demand/price.)
  Chaos Orbs (Will be BoE; finally)
  Maelstrom Crystals (These will shatter into 2 Heavenly Shards so, make sure your server's prices work out. Ex: Heavenly Shard = 70g x 2 (140g) & Maelstrom Crystals = 70g which gives a profit of 70g. Keep in mind Heavenly Shards will likely decrease in price so if they are high on your server right now, I'd sell them now.)
• Tailoring:
  Leg Enchants
  PvP gear for new season (Don't overstock - start with only a few)
  New epic items
  Chaos Orbs
• Leatherworking:
  Leg Enchants
  PvP gear for new season (Don't overstock - start with only a few)
  New epic items
  Chaos Orbs
• Blacksmithing:
  Ebonsteel Belt Buckles, Ebonsteel Belt Buckles, & Ebonsteel Belt Buckles...
  PvP gear for new season (Don't overstock - start with only a few)
  New epic items
  Chaos Orbs
• Jewelcrafting:
  Gems (don't forget Zephyrite, Jasper, Nightstone)
  More gems... (prospect Elementium Ore; should be cheap)
  Metas
  JC Tokens (Do your daily, daily!)
• Alchemy:
  Potions
  Flasks
  Uncut Gems/Metas
  Truegold
• Mining:
  Elementium Ore, Volatiles
  Pyrium Bars
  Elementium Bars
  Hardened Elementium Bars
  Low to high level bars (may also do well with the possibilities of tons switching to Blacksmithing in Patch 4.3)
• Herbalism:
  Herbs - ALL Cata Level
  Volatile Life
• Skinning:
  Pristine Hides
  Savage/Heavy Savage Leather
  Blackened Dragonscales
• Engineering:
  New epic range weapons
  Pets (not really for Patch 4.3 but instead for MoP's Battle Pet mini game)
