Do whatever fits the video, because if there's alot of cool new stuff, of course you're excited yourself, so why try to ruin your excitement with trying to be relaxed?

i dont think you need to ask for a vite if people want up beat or slower commentry do it at your own pase...see if you say it fast it sounds as if your rushing the video...say it slow well.... it makes you sound tired and bored
so i think you just do it at your own pase :) makes no difference to me though i like your vids any way they are

Same for me, i really don't think you should care about how you should talk when commentating on your videos. They're your videos and we're just here to enjoy them unconditionally. You should do whatever YOU want to do. I love your videos and watch any new vid you make cuz its so fun to watch. I even watch you ICC runs over and over again. Anyway, you're doing a great job with the videos how you like to do them.
