Tarou's Weekly WoW Report Episode 14! 7/25/2010 | PvE & Cataclysm News

    Tarou's WoW Blog SQ

In PvE news, Icecrown Citadel's Hellscream's Warsong and Strength of Wrynn buffs have been increased by 5% to 30% which is the max. The buff will be helping tons of guilds and pugs have that little bit of extra edge to down the Lich King so be on the look out for a flood of people getting the Kingslayer title. Just to give you an idea, my guild downed him in 25m with less than half the raid in phase 3, which should have been a wipe but, was salvaged instead.

  • In Cataclysm news, some new screenshots of the new zones and instances were released. Everything is looking pretty awesome as expected.

  • In other Cataclysm news, Ghostcrawler offered some words of wisdom for beta testers and cata forum posters explaining the new talent builds and how they want the new setup to work. A lot of classes are being overhauled and previously abandoned trees like Frost and Arms will be viable in Cataclysm according to Ghostcrawler. Designers are really looking to fix anything that was broken in Wrath and that's definately good news for all players. Read more about this on the Cataclysm Forums.

Tarou's Weekly WoW Report Episode 14! 7/25/2010 | Blizzard News / Q & A Session

  • Moving to Blizzard news, Starcraft II will be releasing this Tuesday, July 27th and tons of store will be open at midnight so you can get your game as early as possible. Also, if you haven't already, check out the Starcraft II contest page to vote or enter your propaganda artwork for a chance at some pretty nice prizes including an Alienware Laptop, Monitor, and more. Read more about this on the Starcraft II Dominion Page.
  • In other Blizzard news, Blizzcon 2010 Live DirectTV tickets have gone on sale and you can purchase your live feed for $39.95. The live feed allows you to get an exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item, access to exclusive Blizzcon merchandise, and DVR funtionality. I bought this last year and it was a bit sketchy at times but I loved the ability to watch different parts at different times even after Blizzcon had ended. Read more about this on the Blizzcon Page.
  • Finally I'd like to end this Tarou Weekly WoW Report answering a few questions you guys and girls have asked me over the last week.
  • Q1. How much gold do you have?

A1. I have no idea to be honest but, I'm about to release my one year anniversary video and it should give you a good idea of how much gold atleast my Druid has.

  • Q2. Are you the boss of a Chinese farmer sweat shop?

A2. Haha, no. I don't know how so many people confused China with Japan but, they are different places and there is no way anyone could ever live in Japan with making gold from farming. Just to give a general idea, most things are 1.5 ~ 2 times as expensive as America.

  • Q3. Do you really live in Japan and can you speak Japanese?

A3. Yes and Yes, I'm naturally fluent.
