Below is a detailed walk-through on how to level Jewelcrafting 1-600 easily and efficiently. This leveling guide is as complete as I can make it but some players may have to purchase extra Jewelcrafting materials due to sometimes not getting a point from a yellowed item. Some players may also find that making different items is cheaper on your server. In total, expect to spend 15,000g more or less leveling Jewelcrafting (Note: Most players should be able to recover ALL of their gold back or more depending on the server's economy by selling the crafted items and enchanting mats on the Auction House).   • Expected Cost to level Jewelcrafting 1-600: 12,000g - 15,000g initially (After you sell everything, it should be almost FREE or make money!)

  • 425-450: 25 x [Jasper Ring]. These can proc rare quality and are decent resales.
    Required Materials:
    25 x [Jasper]
    25 x [Jeweler's Setting] - Purchase these from the Jewelcrafting Supplies Vendor.

    • Or cut some gems for 425-450. (I don't suggest this since the resale values & time are horrible.)

  • 425-450: Cut 25 x [Any Uncommon Gem] ect while they are an orange -> yellow -> green.
    Required Materials:
    25 x [Zephyrite] - Prospecting is likely the way to go on these if the AH is empty. Make sure you don't use any [Jasper], [Carnelian], [Nightstone] or [Hessonite], or [Alicite] as you may need these in the next steps.
  • 450-490: 40 x [Hessonite Band]. These can proc rare quality so Auction House those. Disenchant the uncommon (green) ones or straight sell them on the AH.
    Required Materials:
    80 x [Hessonite]
    40 x [Jeweler's Setting] - Purchase these from the Jewelcrafting Supplies Vendor.
  • Or make 75 x [Any Uncommon Gem] until it greys out at 485 and then at 5 more Nightstone Chokers to the step below.
  • 490-500: 20 x [Nightstone Choker]. These can proc rare quality which are decent for resale.
    Required Materials:
    40 x [Nightstone]
    20 x [Jeweler's Setting] - Purchase these from the Jewelcrafting Supplies Vendor.
  • See your trainer and learn Zen Master Jewelcrafting. This will allow you to still up to 600 and requires level 80.

    After skill level 510 you can mix the bottom two item up as much as you like or have materials for but keep in mind the mat list at the top of the guide will be different. I also suggest buying around 12 stacks of Ghost Iron Ore and prospect them to get the below level ups.

  • 500-551: 17 x [Ornate Band]. These can proc rare quality which are decent for resale. Uncommons sell or DE.
    Required Materials:
    17 x [Lapis Lazuli]
    17 x [Tiger Opal]
    17 x [Sunstone]
    17 x [Jeweler's Setting] - Purchase these from the Jewelcrafting Supplies Vendor.
  • 551-575: 8 x [Shadowfire Necklace]. These can proc rare quality which are decent for resale. Uncommons sell or DE.
    Required Materials:
    8 x [Roguestone]
    8 x [Alexandrite]
    8 x [Pandarian Garnet]
    8 x [Jeweler's Setting] - Purchase these from the Jewelcrafting Supplies Vendor.
  • 575-578: Research 1 x [Primordial Ruby - Research]. You could also any other gem you like or have materials for. Resets at midnight.
    Required Materials:
    3 x [Primordial Ruby]

    Each research award one cut discovered and [Facets of Research] which can contain 2 cut gems.
  • 578-600: Research everyday until you hit 600 or make the rare gems you've researched 11 times. You could also follow the video at the top of the page (Coming Shortly) and mix things up.
