Hey everyone. This is just a quick video and blog about the new Talents for all current classes in World of Warcraft's newest expansion, Mists of Pandaria. These will likely change some over the next several months before and even during beta testing of Mists of Pandaria so don't think that any of this is set in stone. Please enjoy this WoW: Mists of Pandaria: New Talents Preview! blog post and if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to post them below in the comment section or on our forums.

  • Hey everyone. Looks like the talent system gets revamped once again in the upcoming expansion, "Mists of Pandaria". Players will be able to choose a specialization at level 10 that'll give them a new spec ability and open up different options within that spec. Players will no longer spend talents points and there are no more trees. They've been collapsed into one tree. A player will earn talents every 15 levels and be given a choice to pick one of three different available options with the tree furthering the specialization. The development team hopes this will eliminate mandatory talents or cookie cutter specs. The talents can be easily changed much like Glyphs. Finally, a truely unique spec for each player. But, I wonder if this means we'll be changing talents often depending on the encounter. I sure hope I don't have to switch stuff around for every boss in a raid. If that's the case, I pray for a macro or some sort of save system that I can use kinda like what we have now but with more than two specs.
